Bachmann Branchline has announced the future release of an ‘OO’ 1/76 Robinson Class J11 steam locomotive.
The Robinson Class J11 was designed as a freight hauler for LNER. It proved to be an adaptable class of loco able to pick-up goods and run express passenger trains. The first batch of J11’s were built between 1902 and 1910. With the nationalisation of the railways these locos could be seen on many lines throughout the Britain. Despite their success there are sadly no surviving examples.
Bachmann has released the J11 in two liveries.
