The names of her Navy are listed among the who’s who of Naval combat, Bismarck, Tirpitz, Scharnhorst, and Graf Spee. Now with mew kits of these ships being made it is more important than ever to make sure you have good references. Books are heavy and take up a good deal of space. Enter our friend Ray Bean from Still Motions Photographics with a solution.

This DVD is loaded with over 500 images of Kriegsmarine ships and boats. You will find plenty of pictures of the big ships in the DKM Bismarck, Tirpitz, PE, Bulcher, Scharnhorst, Gneisenau, Hipper, Graf Spee, Graf Zeppelin, Koln, etc… You will also get a good quantity of pictures of U-boats. There are also some S-boats, R-boats, and E-boats. There are also many pictures of the German destroyers.

There is a folder including renderings of different ships and some various line drawings for different ships and boats. One line drawing is the layout of the Prinz’s 203mm turret. In most publications you will get pictures of the big German capital ships, Bismarck, Tirpitz and probably the Ugly Sisters. But with the DVD you will get images of just about every major DKM warship and plenty of U-boats too.

On top of the big boys you will get R-Boats, S-boots, and the German tin cans.

With the new DKM kits coming out this is a very good reference tool to have in your library.

This is my favorite navy so I really like this DVD. Other fans of the DKM will also like the DVD. Persons who are fans of warships in general will like this DVD. If you have a plan to build any capital ship of the German Navy I would pick this up to add to your reference library. Its compact size and easy of use will make it one of your favorites.
Highs: Loaded with great shots
