No, I haven't had the pleasure of trying out a Grex AB. Your description however is spot on regarding how the NEO operates. C
heck out Paul's response for the definitive answer. I agree with Paul in that at this point it would be hard to go back to a different brush.

i have the grex tr3 and it looks like it works exactly the same, to be honest i wouldn't go back to a "normal" airbrush.

Rick, by your explanation with the two-step trigger process it sounds like the Iwata NEO trigger airbrush operates exactly like the Grex TG2/TG3 series. First you pull the trigger to get the air flowing, then a little futher back and the paint starts flowing. Have you used the Grex before or have any comparisons between the two? Great review, by the way.
