Rules of Engagement:
01 - Each entry should be made using already available scale models (injection, resin, wood and paper) and the inclusion of PE, AM sets and scratchbuilt is allowed to improve the model;

05 - Each entrant is encouraged to have a WIP (Work In Progress) thread of his entry, with several photos of progress work;
The thread must have this name: SOTQ#1 - Skipper's entry (just need to change the # of SOTQ and of course, your callsign)

06 - Five photos of the finished model should be uploaded in the dedicated gallery *2;

07 - Similar to campaigns, there should be a post where to "enlist" to the Contest #x, in a determined time period, with no exceptions. When the inscription period is over no more inscriptions are allowed. If you miss this contest, you need to wait for the next!

08 - The theme is "Open";

09 - All scales are valid, considering point 01;

10 - The selection of winners is Final, it's the Jury decision (read Winners part bellow);

11 - No members of the staff of Modelshipwrights are allowed to enter the competition;

12 - All entrants should read, understand and agree with these rules.

The Jury or Decision Board (Staff Members of MSW and other Staff members at Kitmaker.net) makes the choices of three winners (First, Second and Third places), and when the results are announced, it's also published a report where it's explained why were those models chosen. Construction, painting, weathering, presentation, layout, level of difficulty and so on. This way, we have a written proof of the analysis and if it is well written, a good reference for future projects. Also should include constructive criticism for the non winning entries if relevant, making the level of entries to get better and better!
And remember, that although this is a contest, this should be FUN!
