1⁄1NP 0-6-0
Randy Harvey [HARV] shot this walkaround of this North Pacific 0-6-0 yard goat at the Yellowstone County Museum.
Come and enjoy this up-close walkaround. Thanks, Randy!
NP 1031
Northern Pacific Railway's No. 1031 is a class L-7 0-6-0 yard switcher. No. 1031 was built by ALCO (work No. 27362) and delivered in April 1903. Curiously, while NP categorized their 0-6-0 types as Class L-7, the tender wears the placard "Class 1-D-2". NP's D-class were 2-6-0 Moguls. If "1-D-2" is the original locomotive the tender was built for, it would have been NP No. 550.Come and enjoy this up-close walkaround. Thanks, Randy!
